As per a report by MyDrivers, Xiaomi may ditch the fingerprint sensor altogether and adopt a 3D facial scanning technology much like Apple’s FaceID.
Earlier, Synaptics had announced it is ready with under-the-display fingerprint sensor and confirmed that Vivo will be the first to implement it, followed by Huawei.
