Back in December when the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 was announced, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun came on stage and said the upcoming Xiaomi flagship will be powered by the flagship processor. Rumour mills went on overdrive after the announcement speculating that the Chinese upstart will unveil its flagship smartphone at the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona in February.
However, newer leaks started suggesting Xiaomi will actually launch the Mi Mix 2s while the Mi 7 could be postponed for later. Now a leaked screenshot state that the Xiaomi Mi 7 will be unveiled in April. The screenshot also revealed the specs of the upcoming flagship.

According to the screenshot, the Mi 7, as expected, will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM and a 4,480mAh battery. That will be a big upgrade over the 4GB RAM and 3,350mAh battery in the Mi 6.
Other than this, the Mi 7 is likely to come with a dual camera module of twin 16-megapixel sensors and a 5.6-inch univisium display of Full HD+ resolution. The phone will reportedly have 128GB of storage.
As per the leak, the Mi 7 will run on MIUI 8.1 which makes the whole leak quite unreliable as there already around 40 Xiaomi devices running MIUI 9.
