The Xiaomi Mi 5 has been spotted on GFXBench and the listing shows that the phone’s display may measure 5.7-inches and not 5.2-inches as speculated earlier. Additionally, the display might have have Full HD, not QHD resolution.  The listing also shows that the device may have 3GB of RAM with 64GB of onboard storage and runs Android Marshmallow v6.0. Rumours suggest that Xiaomi may release another variant of the Mi 5 with 4GB of RAM. In addition, the listing shows the device is running Qualcomm’s new flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 820.

The listing on GFXBench does not show which camera sensors the Xiaomi Mi 5 might come with. Rumours suggest that the phone may be equipped with a 16MP rear camera and an 8MP front facing camera. It is also speculated that the phone may come with a fingerprint sensor located on a physical home button located below the display of the device. Last month, Xiaomi’s India Head, Manu Jain had confirmed that the phone will be launched on February 24.

Additionally, images purported to be of the glass back of the Xiaomi Mi 5 were posted on Weibo. The images show a patterned finish in the glass along with slots on the corner for a camera and the flash. It was earlier believed that the Mi 5 would have a curved glass back, but if these images are true, then the rear of the device may be flat.

There are also reports that Xiaomi may launch a Windows 10 variant of the Mi 5 as well. This variant of the device is tipped to come with the same specifications as the Android powered variant of the device and may be showcased at the World Mobile Congress event in Barcelona. If Xiaomi does make a Windows 10 powered variant of Mi 5, then it may be the first Windows device to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC. However, it is rumoured that HP may also showcase a Snapdragon 820 powered Windows device called the HP Falcon during the same event. The device has been tipped to come with a 5.8-inch QHD display, and a 20MP rear camera with a 12MP front camera.
