Xiaomi has already announced making a global announcement on April 23 from New Delhi. According to reports, the company may announce a new smartphone at the event. Reports suggest the phone could be a new version of the Mi 4, dubbed as the Mi 4i.
A Xiaomi smartphone with 4i name has already been spotted on Singapore's Infocomm Development Authority database. The phone was also spotted on Geekbench benchmark site. However, the Xiaomi already hinted at an “i is coming”.
According to leaks and rumours, the Mi 4i will run Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS and powered by a 64-bit 1.65 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor along with 2GB of RAM. The phone is likely to come with 4.9-inch full HD display, 12MP rear camera and 5MP front facing camera.
Interestingly, Xiaomi is hosting its event same day Asus is expected to launch its highly anticipated smartphone – Zenfone 2.
