Xiaomi Mi 4 has been officially launched India. Xiaomi has also detailed release of its latest MiUi 6 for its devices in India.
Xiaomi has officially launched its flagship phone Mi 4 in India. Priced at Rs 19,999, the smartphone is available via Flipkart starting February 10, pre-registrations start today at 6pm.
The Xiaomi Mi 4 has a 5-inch full HD display. It runs Android 4.4.4 with MiUI 6 on top, and is powered by a 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor along with 3 GB of RAM and the Adreno 330 GPU.
The smartphone has 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera. It comes with 16GB version, the 64GB version will be available later though no date has been given yet. The battery on the Mi4 is slightly bigger than its predecessor at 3,080 mAh.
While the Mi 4 is Xiaomi's 2014 product, we are expecting Xiaomi to launch its latest Mi Note and Note Pro smartphones in India soon.

MiUi 6 update
Xiaomi had recently confirmed that MIUI 6 for Redmi Note 4G and Mi 3 will go into open beta testing in a few weeks. The update is scheduled to hit the Mi3 early February, same for the Redmi Note 4G, while the Redmi 1S and Redmi Note 3G will get it late March. The Mi 4 will run MiUi 6 out of the box.

The MiUi 6 brings a slew of changes and new features with focus on app management, new animations, smart notifications, Security; Cleaner, Battery, Virus Scan, Data Usage, Permissions, Themes Store; Personalize with unique icons, ringtones, lock styles & more, and Email; Auto-setup + Streamlining email conversations.
