Xiaomi could launch Mi 11 Lite by March end
Xiaomi could be preparing to launch Mi 11 Lite which is said to be a trimmed-down variant in the company’s flagship Mi 11 lineup. The Mi 11 Lite has been leaked courtesy of a Vietnamese YouTube channel that reveals the phone in two colourways along with key specifications and price. The Mi 11 was launched on December 28 as the first phone powered by the Snapdragon 888 processor, and it will be making its way globally soon.
Xiaomi will release at least 9 phones globally in early 2021.
I'm repeating. 9. Phones. In. Early. 2021

A video published by Vietnamese YouTube channel ThePixel has revealed everything there is to know about the Mi 11 Lite. The phone was earlier tipped to launch in early 2021, including the Redmi Note 9T which launches later today. The video reveals that the Mi 11 Lite could be priced around VND 7,500,000 and VND 8,000,000 which roughly translates to a starting price of Rs 23,700 by direct conversion of Vietnamese dong to INR. The phone is expected to be launched towards the end of March in Vietnam, so we can expect a global announcement around the same time.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite specifications
From the pictures of the Mi 11 Lite revealed in the video, the phone looks to feature a flat-screen display, unlike the curved screen we have seen on the Mi 11. There is a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera up front and a squircle camera module on the back with three cameras.
The Mi 11 Lite is said to feature a Full HD+ display with support for 120Hz high refresh rate. It is rumoured to be powered by the Snapdragon 732G processor paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
The rear camera array could include a primary 64MP camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 5MP camera. The phone is expected to be fitted with either a side-mounted fingerprint sensor or a rear-mounted reader, but the same is not visible in the leaked renders.
We will advise our readers to take all of this with a pinch of salt until we get to hear something from Xiaomi officially. The company could be working on the Mi 11 Lite, and we will keep an eye out for any developments about it.
