Last year, Xiaomi launched Redmi Note 4X Hatsune Miku Limited Edition Teal version. It had identical specifications as that of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. This year, Xiaomi has launched the Mi 6X Hatsune Miku Edition in Turquoise. The variant will have 6GB RAM/64GB storage and runs MIUI 9.5. The company made the announcement on its official Weibo account. In the box, the company is giving a Limited edition 10,000 mAh Mi Power bank, a semi-transparent soft protective Hatsune Miku printed back cover and a metal nameplate.
For those who don’t know, Hatsune Miku is a singing synthesizer application for Windows or macOS in which the digital image of a 16-year old girl with signature turquoise hair, sings. The price of the whole package is CNY 2,099 (approx Rs 21,800) which is Yuan 300 more than the regular 6GB+64GB variant. The phone is available for pre-order and sales will start on July 10.
Xiaomi had launched Mi 6X smartphone in April in China in three variants. The 4GB RAM/64GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1599 (approx Rs 16,900), the 6GB RAM/64GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1799 (approx Rs 19,900). The top-of-the-line variant with 6GB RAM/128GB storage is priced at CNY 1999 (approx Rs 21,100).
The Xiaomi Mi 6X sports a 5.99-inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 SoC and sports a USB Type-C port. The smartphone is 7.6mm thick and is equipped with a 3010mAh battery. The Xiaomi Mi 6X features QC 3.0 fast charging, which the company claims can charge the phone up to 50 percent in 30 minutes.
At the back of the phone is a dual-rear camera setup consisting of 12MP + 20 MP cameras. The 12MP Sony IMX486 rear camera sports a f/1.75 aperture with 1.25μm pixels, while the second is a Sony IMX376 sensor. At the front is also a 20MP Sony IMX376 camera. The phone also comes with AI-scene detection, that allows the camera to optimize the image based on the photo that is being. The Mi 6X also comes with face unlock.
