Xiaomi announced that its brand-new HyperOS will make its way to India on February 29. Well, they are making the most of the extra day this year. It will be released at noon IST. Xiaomi took to X to share this news, informing them that the HyperOS will be responsible for connecting “personal devices, cars, and smart home products in a smart ecosystem”. For reference, you can imagine what the Apple ecosystem does and how it helps you play around with multiple devices and sync them.
Here are the features of the upcoming HyperOS by Xiaomi:
HyperOS will be responsible for bringing AI features to Xiaomi gadgets. This would include but not be limited to text generation, image creation from doodles, text extraction from images, etc.
It will allow for different UI customisations such as on the lock screen, Control Center, and other areas.
It will obviously help in boosting performance in areas such as longer app retention in memory, faster boot times, loading speeds, etc.
Security measures, permission management, and encryption protocols will also be improved.
It will also offer some cool features like using a Xiaomi phone’s rear camera as a webcam on a Xiaomi laptop, users will be able to share mobile data with other Xiaomi devices, and could even get Xiaomi smartphone notifications on other larger-display devices.
