The device is most probably Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship, the Mi 5, and the listing shows that it may have 3GB of RAM and run Android Marshmallow
A Xiaomi phone powered by Snapdragon 820 has appeared on Geekbench. The phone is codenamed ‘Gemini’, and is most probably Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship phone, the Mi 5. According to the listing on Geekbench, the device has 3GB of RAM, and comes with Android Marshmallow v6.0. The listing also shows that the device has Qualcomm's ARMv8 cores clocked at 1.59GHz. The phone managed to get a single-core score of 2140 and a multi-core score of 4762.
Rumours suggest that Xiaomi’s new flagship phone will be announced on December 3. Aside from the Snapdragon chipset, the device is speculated to come with a 5.5-inch QHD screen with Gorilla Glass Protection. It is tipped to come with a 16MP rear camera and an 8MP front facing camera. It is also expected to offer 16GB and 64GB of onboard storage, along with a fingerprint scanner.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor was officially unveiled a few days ago. The new chipset relies on a quad-core setup instead of the octa-core one found on the Snapdragon 810. The 820 is based on 14nm FinFET-fabricated processors. Qualcomm has developed a custom Kryo architecture for the cores. Out of the four cores, two cores are clocked at 2.2GHz, while the other two can be clocked at either 1.6GHz or 1.7GHz. Qualcomm claims that the new Kryo CPU offers twice the performance and efficiency, as compared to the Snapdragon 810.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 tablet was spotted on Geekbench as well. As per the listing, the device will be powered by an Intel X5-Z8500 processor clocked at 2.24GHz. It may also come with 2GB of RAM and run Android Lollipop v5.1 on setup. The device managed to get a single-core score of 985, and a multi-core score of 3400.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro has also appeared on TENAA. The device features an all-metal body with a fingerprint scanner at the back. According to the listing, the device comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display. At the back is a 13MP camera while at the front is a 5MP camera. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio X10 Processor with 2GB of RAM, along with 16GB of internal memory and a 3060mAh battery pack.
