Xiaomi's 'Diwali with Mi' sale is being held from September 27 to September 29. The big attraction during Xiaomi's Diwali sale will be the Rs 1 flash sale, which will be held between 11AM and 5PM every day. The company is also offering discounts on smartphones, accessories and its connected home devices.
Xiaomi claims to have sold over 1 million smartphones in just 48 hours during the festive sale being held on Amazon and Flipkart. The company said its Redmi Note 4 was the best-selling smartphone and 8 out of 9 top-selling smartphones on Amazon were its Redmi devices. However, Xiaomi is not done with sales yet. The company is hosting its own Diwali sale from September 27 to September 29 where it will offer deals on smartphones, accessories and its connected home devices.
Xiaomi's 'Diwali with Mi' sale goes live on September 27 at 10AM and the company is running a 'The Diya Hunt' contest on its website that gives users an opportunity to win discount coupons, smartphones and more. In order to participate, users will have to log in with their Mi account. To simplify the shopping experience further, Xiaomi is also offering coupons and F-codes to its Mi members. Mi members can redeem their Mi tokens for discount coupons or F-codes starting 12 noon on September 26. The company says those purchasing Xiaomi products during September 27 to September 29 can avail special Diwali discounts.
The big attraction during Xiaomi's Diwali sale will be the Rs 1 flash sale, which will be held between 11AM and 5PM every day. The company is limiting its bid to win the contest to the Mi app and will be held between 2PM and 6PM. The fastest fingers first contest will be held every day at 4PM during the sale.
During the three days of sale, SBI Debit and Credit card users will get 5 percent extra cashback. The cashback will be applicable to a minimum transaction of Rs 8,000 and maximum cashback will be limited to Rs 1,000. Those who purchase Redmi Note 4 using Paytm, will get a flat cashback of Rs 400. Paytm is also offering Rs 1,111 cashback on domestic flight booking with every purchase on Mi.com. Other deals include free Hungama Music for 12 months and free Humgama Play for 3 months with every smartphone purchase.
Xiaomi Mi A1, the first Android One device from the company will be available at Rs 14,999. The Mi A1 features a 5.5-inch full HD display, Snapdragon 625 processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The smartphone features dual 12MP rear cameras with 2x optical zoom and is backed by a 3080mAh battery. The Mi A1 runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat and will be getting Oreo update before the end of this year. It will be available in Black and Gold colour variants during the sale.
Xiaomi is offering Redmi Note 4 at a discounted price during the sale. The Redmi Note 4 with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage will be available at Rs 9,999, a discount of Rs 1,000. The 4GB RAM variant with 64GB storage will retail for Rs 10,999, a discount of Rs 2,000. Xiaomi has sold over 5 million units of Redmi Note 4 since its launch in January and it continues to be one of the best-selling smartphones in the country.
The Redmi Note 4 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 625 chipset. The handset features a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP secondary camera. The device runs MIUI 8 based on Android Marshmallow and is getting MIUI 9 update based on Android 7.0 Nougat. The smartphone is backed by a 4100mAh battery and will be available in black, gold and grey colour options. The Redmi Note 4 Lake blue edition will be available at Rs 12,999.
Other deals include up to Rs 1,500 off on Redmi 4 smartphone which starts at Rs 6,999. The Mi Max 2 will be available in two storage variants at a starting price of Rs 12,999. The Redmi 4A will also be available in two storage options and will retail at a starting price of Rs 5,999. Mi Protect will be available at a starting price of Rs 399.
During the sale, the newly launched Mi Band HRX Edition will be available at Rs 1,299 while Mi basic headphones will retail for Rs 499. Mi Capsule Earphones is priced at Rs 899 while Mi Bluetooth Speaker Basic 2 is priced at Rs 1,799. Xiaomi has also discounted it's 10000mAh Mi Power Bank 2 to Rs 899 while the 20000mAh Mi Power Bank 2 will be available at Rs 1,799. Mi Air Purifier 2 is priced at Rs 8,499, a discount of Rs 1,500 on its regular price. The Air Purifier Bundle, which generally retails at Rs 12,498 will be available at Rs 9,998.
