Popular benchmarking website, AnTuTu has posted its monthly report of the top performing smartphone for the month of June. As expected, the top ten rankings are dominated by smartphones powered by Qualcomm’s flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 845. Although there was a Snapdragon 835-powered device right at the bottom.
The top spot was taken by Xiaomi’s new Black Shark Gaming smartphone. The device sports a multi-stage integrated liquid cooling system that is said to bring down the temperature by up to 8 degrees Celsius. The second spot is taken by the new Vivo Nex smartphone. The phone features a notch-less display, with the front camera popping up from the top of the phone. The third place is taken by the OnePlus 6. While OnePlus has been hyping up the performance of the smartphone, it was only good enough for it to be the second runners up. However, If you take the Indian perspective into account, it would be the fastest as the first two smartphones have not been launched in the country yet.
The fourth spot was taken up by Xiaomi’s new flagship, the Mi 8. The company also had another representative in the top ten list, namely the Mi Mix 2S, which took seventh place. Samsung’s current flagships, the Galaxy S9+ and the Galaxy S9 took the sixth and eighth spots respectively. But it should be noted that these were the Snapdragon-powered variants, not Exynos-powered ones. The tenth sport was taken by the Snapdragon 835-powered Nubia Red Magic smartphone.
Interestingly, there were no HiSilion Kirin-powered devices in the top ten list. However, they did take up the next six places. The Huawei Mate 10 took the 11th slot, while the Honor V10 was placed 13th, a place above the Huawei P20 Pro.
