Xiaomi has rolled out its latest flagship lineup, the Xiaomi 15 series with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The lineup consists of two smartphones; the Xiaomi 15 and the Xiaomi 15 Pro. Along with the smartphone, Xiaomi has also unveiled its latest UI, HyperOS 2, based on Android 15. Furthermore, the Xiaomi 15 comes in four colour options; Asakusa Green, Bright Silver Edition, Black, Lilac, and White. Whereas, the Pro model has been offered in only four colours; Bright Silver Edition, Rock Ash, Spruce Green, and White.
The Chinese brand has launched this latest smartphone lineup in China for now, and it is expected to come to India soon. Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 15 at a starting price of CNY 4,499, which is approximately Rs. 50,000. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 15 Pro is priced at CNY 5,299, which would be around Rs. 62,000 for the base variant.

Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro specifications
The Xiaomi 15 features a 6.36-inch 8T LTPO display with a 1.5K resolution with up to 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,200nits. The Pro model comes with a larger 6.73-inch 2K OLED display, also supporting 120Hz refresh and the same brightness levels.
The Xiaomi 15 series is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, making them the first smartphones to debut with this chipset. Both models support up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
For photography, the Xiaomi 15 has a Leica-branded triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide shooter. For selfies, you get a 32-megapixel front camera. The Xiaomi 15 Pro’s camera system features a similar triple arrangement, using a 50-megapixel main camera, a periscope telephoto sensor with 5x optical zoom, and an ultrawide lens.
Lastly, the Xiaomi 15 carries a 5,400mAh battery with 90-watt wired fast charging and 50-watt wireless fast charging support, while the Xiaomi 15 Pro steps up with a 6,100mAh battery with the same fast-charging capabilities.
