Amidst all the flagship smartphone launches, Xiaomi has officially announced that it will soon launch the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. The smartphone will directly succeed last year’s Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The launch is scheduled for February 27 in China. This will be followed by a global launch on March 2nd. In India, the smartphone will be launched on March 18. In addition to the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, the Chinese tech giant will also unveil the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra luxury car, RedmiBook 16 Pro 2025, and Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro earbuds.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra expected specifications

While not a lot is known about the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, rumours, and leaks have given us a slight idea of what we can expect from the device. As we all know, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is going to be a camera-centric phone. It will most likely feature a quad camera setup with a 50-megapixel 1-inch Sony LYT-900 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL JN5 ultra-wide, another 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 telephoto sensor, along with a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP9 periscope lens with 4.3x optical zoom.

Under the hood, the smartphone can be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with 16GB RAM. The smartphone was recently spotted on Geekbench running Android 15 too.

Additionally, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra can feature a 6.36-inch 1.5K OLED display and carries IP68 + IP69 ratings for durability. Leaked renders suggest the device will come in black and white color options, with a 9.48mm thickness and 229g weight.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra was launched in India for Rs 99,999. Its successor, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is also expected to be priced around the same bracket. For now, let’s take this number with a pinch of salt and wait for an official announcement by Xiaomi.
