Xiaomi 15 Ultra India launch date confirmed: Expected price, specs and more

At the ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona, Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi unveiled its latest flagship smartphone- the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. Just after its global launch, the company is gearing up for the launch in India. Xiaomi has confirmed that it will launch its flagship Xiaomi 15 Ultra in India on March 11. The launch event is scheduled to take place at 12PM. Ahead of that, here’s everything that we know about the smartphone so far.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra: Expected specifications
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra packs a 6.73-inch quad-curved LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. The device also comes with an IP68 rating.
Camera is the main talking point about the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, and Xiaomi has equipped the Ultra model with a quad-camera setup, tuned by Leica. It includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor (1-inch type LYT-900), a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 telephoto lens (3x optical zoom), and a 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP9 periscope telephoto camera (4.3x optical zoom). For selfies, there is a 32-megapixel front camera.
For battery, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra packs a 5,410mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging and 80W wireless charging support.
Expected price in India
Xiaomi is yet to confirm the prices of the smartphone in India, but if reports are to be believed, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra can be priced around Rs 90,000 to Rs 1,00,000, similar to its global pricing.
At this price point and with the features it packs, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is set to compete with top-tier smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
