Xiaomi 15 series may launch in India next month: What we know
HIGHLIGHTS

Xiaomi is gearing up to launch either Xiaomi 15 series in India next month.

In India, we can expect a slight hike in Xiaomi 15 series' pricing.

It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.

From Google to iQOO, every brand in India has launched its next-generation flagship smartphone in India, except Xiaomi. However, rumours and leaks are now surfacing on the internet that the Xiaomi 15 series is coming to India soon. Xiaomi has already launched the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro in China, but we are not sure whether both smartphones will come to India or not. Last year, Xiaomi launched only two smartphones in India – the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Now the Ultra variant of the Xiaomi 15 series is confirmed to debut globally next month, so it has a higher probability to launch in India.

According to a new leak by tipster Abhishek Yadav, Xiaomi is gearing up to launch either Xiaomi 15 series or Redmi 14 5G in India next month. However, if you think about it, the Xiaomi 15 series makes more sense because the brand is already late to the next-gen flagship party, and the Redmi 13 5G, predecessor of the upcoming Redmi 14 5G, was launched in July last year. Launching the Redmi 14 5G in February would be too early.

Now, let’s take a look at Xiaomi 15 series’ price expectations and specifications.

Xiaomi 15 series price and specifications

The Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra were launched in India at Rs 69,999 and Rs 99,999. However, with the Xiaomi 15, the brand has slightly increased its pricing in China. So, we can expect a slight hike in India as well. The Xiaomi 15 can launch in India for under Rs 80,000 and the Ultra variant might carry the same pricing.

Moving on to their specifications, the Xiaomi 15 series is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Further, it features a 2K AMOLED display, a 50MP triple camera system, and 90-watt wired fast charging. On the Ultra model, you will most likely get the same chipset but a better camera system.
