Along with that, the Chinese brand has also revealed one more interesting detail, and I am talking about the new Snapdragon processor. Xiaomi 15 series will be a flagship smartphone lineup, so yes we are talking about the successor of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. So, let’s begin with the launch date.

As usual, Xiaomi will launch the new smartphone series in China first, and the launch date it has revealed is for China launch only. The Xiaomi 15 series will come out in the market on October 23 with two models – the standard Xiaomi 15 and the Xiaomi 15 Pro. These smartphones will be the first smartphones to run on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. They are said to launch at the Snapdragon Summit 2024, happening between October 21-23rd.

Speaking of the Snapdragon 8 Elite, this can be the successor of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It seems like Qualcomm will now name its smartphone flagship processor similar to its latest PC processors (Snapdragon X Elite). Moreover, this new chip might be based on TSMC’s 3nm process and will be quite powerful by featuring two performance cores at 4.0GHz and six efficiency cores at 2.8GHz.

So, these are all the offical Xiaomi 15 series details, but else do we know?
