Xiaomi 14 has been in the news for a while now. This is the next flagship smartphone from the brand as they have now officially confirmed the arrival of Xiaomi 14 soon. Two smartphones are expected under this series – The Xiaomi 14 and the Xiaomi 14 Pro. Up until now, we had only anticipated this through leaks and sightings. Xiaomi took to Weibo to announce that it will unveil the all-new Xiaomi 14 series this month on October 26. The release will happen at 7 PM (Chinese Time). Along with the release date, Xiaomi also hinted at certain features that the Xiaomi 14 series could pack.

First up, the Chinese- tech brand has also announced that the HyperOS will also be unveiled during the same event. Xiaomi plans on suspending the old MIUI and completely replacing it with the upcoming HyperOS. Xiaomi 14 will be the first smartphone to incorporate the HyperOS. Also, Xiaomi plans on using this operating system for its EVs too.
Next, the cameras on Xiaomi 14 are making a lot of noise. Xiaomi announced that the smartphones will carry a Leica lens. With this collaboration, Xiaomi promises top-notch photography experiences. It carries a professional high-dynamic image sensor for mobile optics.

Xiaomi 14 Pro expected specifications
The Xiaomi 14 Pro could pack a 6.6-inch flat AMOLED screen offering a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. And for the cameras, we could get the most awaited Leica Summilux lens along with a 50.3MP 1-inch-type Sony IMX989 sensor. On the battery front, we could get a 4,860mAh battery. It could come with 120-watt fast charging support and 50-watt wireless charging capability.
