Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 14 series in China in October last year. This lineup consists of two smartphone models: the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro. Now, this Xiaomi 14 series is gearing up for its global launch on February 25, 2024, as announced by the company.
The announcement was made on X (formerly known as Twitter) by Xiaomi founder and CEO Lei Jun.

The teaser image was also shared by Xiaomi’s Global, UK and Philippines X accounts, indicating that the Xiaomi 14 series will launch in various markets.

Xiaomi has yet to officially announce the release of its Xiaomi 14 series in India. However, a recent post from Xiaomi India about the “strategic partnership” with Leica hints at a potential flagship launch.
Now, let’s take a look at the Xiaomi 14 series’ specifications. The Xiaomi 14 and the Xiaomi 14 Pro smartphone models are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and are also the first handsets to launch with Xiaomi’s new operating system HyperOS.
While the Xiaomi 14 handset features a 6.36-inch display, the Xiaomi 14 Pro model comes with a 6.73-inch display.
The Xiaomi 14 smartphone packs a 4610mAh battery, on the other hand, the Xiaomi 14 Pro device features a 4880mAh battery.
For photography, both the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro smartphone models feature a 50MP main camera. On the front, they both have a 32MP selfie shooter.
In China, the Xiaomi 14 series starts at CNY 3999 (approx 46,000). According to MySmartPrice, the global pricing is expected to start at around ₹60,000 for the base variant of the Xiaomi 14 handset.
