Are you a big fan of Thor? What if I told you that you have a hammer just like “Mjolner” out there in the market that can not only hammer nails but can also make calls, text someone, run games, and more? And no I am not talking about an over-the-top phone cover for your smartphone that GenZ is obsessing over these days. We’re talking about the Xiaomi 14 Pro. And yes, it doubles up as a hammer. Know how.
Xiaomi’s flagship 14 series was unveiled just recently in China. The newly launched smartphone series created quite the hype from its Leica Summilux lenses to HyperOS and even the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. But turns out, this guy wanted to test something else.

The Xiaomi 14 Pro is packed with Dragon Crystal Glass. Word is that this glass is stronger than the likes of the Gorilla Glass Victus 2. And that’s what this Chinese creator wanted to test.
In a video originally from Weibo, which is now circulating on X (formerly Twitter), we can see the creator hammer a nail using the Xiaomi 14 Pro as a hammer, that too from the display front. There are two videos of him doing this, one of which is in slo-mo. And trust me, he’s not cutting any slack and is seen hitting the nail really hard.

Once his job of pushing the nail inside the block is done, he shows the display to the camera. And to everyone’s surprise, the display of the Xiaomi 14 Pro turned out to be rock solid as there was no damage to the screen, not even any visible scratches.
Well, we can not verify the authenticity of the video just yet but it seems that the hammer test has become quite famous in the smartphone sector. Previously we saw a similar test being done on the Honor 90 5G.
Would you like to see this test done on the Xiaomi 14 Pro when it lands in India? Let me know in the comments.
