Xiaomi 14 CIVI launched in India with Leica Optics, Snapdragon 8s Gen3, and more

Xiaomi has dropped a new mid-range smartphone with its premium Leica optics, the Xiaomi 14 CIVI. This smartphone is the affordable variant of the Xiaomi 14, launched in India in March. This smartphone will directly compete with the OnePlus 12R in the Indian market. However, performance-wise, the Xiaomi 14 CIVI can also compete with the latest iPhone 15 with its Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. Let me tell you more about this smartphone below.
Xiaomi 14 CIVI specifications
The Xiaomi 14 CIVI comes with an attractive design and three colour options; Cruise Blue, Matcha Green, and Shadow Black. I liked the latter two. The Matcha Green features a vegan leather back and black matte glass comes with the Shadow Black. A circular Leica camera module holds a triple camera setup on the back. On the front, you get a Dynamic Island-type capsule notch that holds two selfie shooters.
Coming to the hardware, the Xiaomi 14 CIVI features a 6.55-inch LTPO AMOLED with 1.5K pixels resolution. This display supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision, 68-bit colour, and up to 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, it has 3000 nits of peak brightness and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

Talking about its performance, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. This processor has one prime core clocked at 3.0GHz, four performance cores clocked at 2.8GHz, and three efficiency cores clocked at 2.0GHz.
For photography, the Xiaomi 14 CIVI comes with a Leica 50-megapixel triple camera setup. This includes a 50-megapixel main camera with PDAF and OIS, a 50-megapixel Telephoto sensor with up to 2x optical zoom, and a 12-megapixel Ultrawide lens. For selfies and video calls, it has two 32-megapixel selfie shooters.
Lastly, the Xiaomi 14 CIVI is packed with a 4700mAh battery with up to 67-watt fast charging support.

Price and availability
Xiaomi has rolled out its new mid-range smartphone at a starting price of ₹42,999. If you are interested in buying the Xiaomi 14 CIVI, it will be available on Flipkart from June 20.
