Xiaomi recently launched the 13 series which includes Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. Now the company is going to launch the most premium smartphone of the series Xiaomi 13 Ultra. It has been teasing it for a very long time now. We don’t have all the confirmed specifications but leaks suggest some.
I am comparing it to the top-of-the-line smartphones of two leading companies, Samsung and Apple.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra comes with a very neat and unique design. The design of the smartphone makes it look like an expensive device. It will come with a faux leather back panel which also features an antibacterial coating against dust. It features a metal alloy frame and it has a big circular camera module on the back. The camera module makes a big bump on the back and it will launch in at least two colours; White and Green.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is available in four different colours; Phantom Black, Green, Cream and Lavender. It features a frosted matte panel on the back that looks like the design of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra a lot. The back of the phone is equipped with three large camera rings and two smaller rings that house the laser AF and cameras. It weighs 234g and is 8.9mm thick. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra also comes with an S Pen which can be pulled out from the phone.
Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max comes with a glass body with an aluminium frame in the middle. The phone weighs 240 grams and is 7.9mm thick. It comes in four colour options; Space Black, Silver, Gold, and Deep Purple. On the back it has three camera rings along with a Lidar scanner and LED flash placed inside a square camera module. On the front, it has a pill-shaped notch which Apple likes to call Dynamic Island.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is rumoured to feature a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED display with the support of up to 120Hz refresh rate.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is equipped with a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 1440 x 3088 pixels. The display supports HDR10+ and up to 120Hz refresh rate.
iPhone 14 Pro Max features a 6.7-inch LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED display with a resolution of 1290 x 2796 pixels. This display supports Dolby Vision and 120Hz refresh rate as well.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC is said to be integrated into the Xiaomi 13 Ultra which will reportedly be paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra could operate on MIUI 14 which is based on the Android 13 operating system.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra comes in three storage options that are 12GB 256GB, 12GB 512GB and 12GB 1TB, along with a customised Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. This phone runs on OneUI 5.1 based on Android 13.
iPhone 14 Pro Max works on Apple’s latest A16 Bionic chipset and it operates on iOS 16 out of the box but can be upgradable to iOS 16.4.1. This phone can be bought in four storage options; 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra could sport a quad camera setup holding a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 primary camera and three more 50-megapixel sensors. On the front, it will boast a 32-megapixel selfie shooter, according to the reports.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra comes with a huge 200-megapixel primary camera along with a 10-megapixel periscope telephoto sensor, a 10-megapixel telephoto sensor and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens. It also features a 12-megapixel selfie shooter.
There is a triple camera setup in the iPhone 14 Pro Max along with a TOF 3D LiDAR scanner. The triple camera setup contains a 48-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel telephoto sensor and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens. For the front, it has a 12-megapixel selfie shooter as well.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra is expected to come with a 4900mAh battery with 90-watt fast charging support and 50-watt wireless fast charging support.
A 5000mAh battery can be found in Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra which supports 45-watt fast charging support and 15-watt wireless.
Apple claims that iPhone 14 Pro Max can be charged 0 to 50 per cent in 30 mins, having a 4323mAh battery.
