Xiaomi 13 first look leaked in 5K render
HIGHLIGHTS

Xiaomi will launch the successor of the 12 series, the Xiaomi 13, in China before the end of November 2022.

Oneleaks and CompareDial have released a 5K render of the base 5G variant of the 13 lineups.

Xiaomi will offer an iPhone-ish look to its users with a flat-screen than the most speculated round screen.

Xiaomi will reportedly launch its next-gen flagship smartphone Xiaomi 13 lineup, before the November end. The official announcement is still pending; however, later in October, the premium model of the Xiaomi 13 series, the Xiaomi 13 Pro, look and specifications leaked by a tipster. Moreover, yesterday, Oneleaks and Zoutons leaked a render of the premium variant, revealing that the smartphone will sport a curved display. Meanwhile, Oneleaks and CompareDials have yet again released a 5K render of the vanilla variant, showing that the smartphone could have a flat-screen instead of the most speculated round display.

The Xiaomi 13 series is the successor of Xiaomi 12 lineup

The 5G model looks similar to the iPhone 14-inspired design, with a flat display and flat sides that would give you an iconic iPhone-ish look. According to CompareDial, the phone features a 6.2" flat display with super tiny bezels around the edges. In addition, the sides have an iPhone-like antenna band on the upper side of the flat sides, which is downright iPhone 14.

One can easily understand Xiaomi 13 as an iPhone if you are aware of the rear camera bump since there's little to no difference between the two. According to the reports, the phone's dimensions are 152.8×71.5×8.3 mm, slightly beefier at the camera bump of 10.3mm. It is speculated that Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset will power the smartphone.

On the right is a power button plus a volume control button. There is a USB-C, speaker grille, and microphone at the bottom, while the left side is empty. At the back, three differently-sized camera sensors are in a buff square bump. Although it is vast, the renders do show it looks good and is not something you would see on a OnePlus 10R-like phone where the bump is enormous.

Reports suggest that, like Apple discontinued the phone box charger, Xiaomi will follow the same path. Not only with the adopter but the 3.5mm headphone jack, even the SIM card slot, and more.
