Wyncomm just released two new dual SIM mobiles, Y90 and Y99, priced at Rs. 2,895 and Rs. 3,895 respectively. These, like the Zen M25 and many other new low-cost dual SIM handsets around, offer great battery life as one their main selling points.
The phones, Y90 (left) and Y99, are evidently designed to be trendy, and you can’t help but wonder if the Wyncomm Y series was built with the Spirit of Generation Y – and that decade – in mind.
Y90
This dual SIM (GSM-GSM) phone sports a 1.3MP camera, FM radio, torch, and expandable memory up to 4GB. Software features include FM alarm, scheduled SMS, Indian calendar, integrated torch, answering machine, and the rather wacky sounding background noise changer. Its 1400 mAh battery is rated to provide 8.5 hours of talktime and 350 hours of standby time. The phone also has a motion sensor that allows for changing wallpapers and songs with shake.
Y99
