Apple WWDC 2022 keynote presentation was held earlier this week where the Cupertino giant previewed the next-generation iOS 16, macOS Ventura, iPadOS 16 and watchOS 9. Alongside, Apple has also released a list of all the compatible devices that will be eligible to receive these new software updates later this year. Here’s a look at the list of all the compatible devices for iOS 16, macOS Ventura, iPadOS 16 and watchOS 9.

Apple iOS 16 is compatible with the following iPhones:
iPhone 8
iPhone 8 Plus
iPhone X
iPhone XR
iPhone XS Max
iPhone XS
Phone 11
iPhone 11 Pro
iPhone 11 Pro Max
iPhone 12
iPhone 12 mini
iPhone 12 Pro
iPhone 12 Pro Max
iPhone 13
iPhone 13 mini
iPhone 13 Pro
iPhone 13 Pro Max
iPhone SE (2nd generation or later)
Any iPhone before the iPhone 8 will not receive the update to iOS 16 and this includes phones like the iPhone 6, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone SE (1st gen) and more.
The macOS Ventura will be released for MacBooks and Mac computers later this year and here are all the devices set to receive the update:

MacBook Pro 2017 and later
iMac 2017
iMac Pro 2017
MacBook Air 2018 and later
Mac mini 2018 and later
Mac Pro 2019 and later
Mac Studio 2022
The iPadOS 16 is compatible with the following iPad models:

iPad Air (3rd generation and later)
iPad (5th generation and later)
iPad mini (5th generation and later)
The following Apple Watch models are compatible with watchOS 9 and require iPhone 8 or later with iOS 16:
