However, the brand is rumoured to go big on AI with its upcoming software update. But that’s not it. According to a report, iOS 18 could see some other changes too. This will be the change in the user interface that hasn’t been done for a long long time. Last I remember Apple made noticeable changes to its UI, was in iOS 13. Rumoured iOS 18 changes

A new report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman states that Apple is working on iPhone’s UI which could arrive later this year. If it’s going to be a big change in the UI, Apple will bring it with iOS 18 with new looks and feels. Now what are the changes? Well, Gurman’s report did not discuss this in detail but another report gave us a glimpse on how it could look.

A report by The Verifier citing anonymous sources claims the iOS 18 could look very much similar to visionOS. It is the user interface of Apple’s latest MR headset, the Vision Pro. Speaking of its user interface, it is a unique system that offers translucent UI elements and a blur effect, facilitating AR and VR experiences.

Furthermore, Apple intends to update elements of the operating system, including Safari and system menus, drawing inspiration from visionOS. The Apple TV+ app received the first indicator of these changes in the tvOS 17.2 update.
