Indian manufacturer, Wiio Mobiles has announced its new affordable smartphone, the WI Star 3G for only Rs. 3,999/- available exclusively on eBay India.
New Indian smartphone manufacturer, Wiio Mobiles has launched its latest device, the WI Star 3G, exclusively available for purchase on eBay India. Priced at just Rs. 3,999/-, Wiio claims the WI Star 3G is India’s most affordable 5-inch 3G smartphone.
The smartphone doesn’t pack the best hardware but looking at the price, the phone seems to fare pretty well. The performance of the phone can obviously be determined after testing it thoroughly, so stay tuned for our full review. Rohit Ghai, Director of Wiio Mobiles, said that the company is committed to offering consumers with value for money devices with state of the art features, and that more phones will be launched in the coming months. Wiio has its own R&D department and the company has denied that the WI Star 3G is a rebranded Chinese phone, claiming that the phone was designed in-house.
The WI Star 3G won’t be sold under a flash sale, but initially Wiio will ship 10,000 units.

Interested consumers will be able to purchase the WI Star 3G on eBay India. They will have the option of buying through EMI through ICICI, Citibank and HDFC credit cards, and through Cash on Delivery (supported locations only). Consumers will also have an option of redeeming their Payback points on eBay India. The device will be covered by the eBay Guarantee which ensures refund or replacement policy for the consumer. Wiio Mobiles has teamed up with 450 service centers around the country, for after sales service to the consumers. The phone will be available in two colours, white and blue.
