Pre-bookings start for WickedLeak's Wammy Neo Youth with octa-core processor from 15th of July
Earlier in May WickedLeak launched the Wammy Neo Youth smartphone in India priced at Rs 8,490. The phone comes with a octa-core processor and a 5-inch HD display. It will available for pre-booking from 15th of July.
The phone uses a 1.7 GHz Octa core Mediatek processor with Mali 450 GPU and 1GB of RAM. The device has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be upgraded to 32GB via a microSD card. The Phone also boasts a 13 MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash support. It also has a 5 MP front facing camera for video calling and selfies. WickedLeak is touting that the phone will have a powerful gaming experience. The device has a fairly slim profile at 7.7mm of thickness.
WickedLeak has priced the Wammy Neo Youth at Rs 8,490 and for an extra Rs 1,500 they will coat the phone with “AquaProtect” technology that makes the device waterproof. The Phone come with Android 4.2 out of the box and will be upgraded to 4.4 KitKat and will support dual-SIM.
