WickedLeak has announced the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update for its recently launched Wammy Titan 2 quad-core phablet. The rollout is slated to begin April 12 via a ROM upgrade.
WickedLeak in a release says the update is going to enhance performance and stability of the phablet as well as improve user experience and bring new features such as Google Now, GPS Info with Pictures synced with Camera and swipe/gesture typing, among others.
The v4.2 update to Titan 2 comes shortly after Micromax announced the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update for its Canvas 2 A110 phablet.
The Wammy Titan 2 was launched last month. Priced at Rs. 13,990, the phablet features 5.3-inch display, 1.2GHz MTK6589 quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 4GB of ROM, 12MP rear camera and 5MP front camera, dual-SIM support, expandable storage up to 32GB, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and FM Radio. There’s a 2300mAh battery.
The Wammy Titan 2 competes against the likes of a range of budget phablets available in the market such as Micromax Canvas A116 HD and Xolo Q800.
