Realme has just announced its latest Realme 12 Pro series. It includes two smartphones that are the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro Plus. The latter one is a proper mid-range smartphone that has been launched in India under ₹30,000 price segment. In this article, I am going to talk about what’s new and upgraded in the Realme 12 Pro Plus. However, there are not plenty of new stuff but there are still some upgrades that made me excited. So, Let’s go!
Realme 12 Pro Plus camera
First and foremost, there is an integration of a Periscope Telephoto sensor. The Periscope Telephoto technology is a smartphone trend these days, pretty much like AI. We get this tech in high-end, expensive smartphones. But, the Realme 12 Pro Plus is one of the few smartphones that don’t break your bank and also offers you a 64-megapixel Periscope Telephoto sensor. This sensor is coupled with two more sensors; a 50-megapixel OIS main camera and an 8-megapixel Ultrawide lens.
Speaking of the Realme 11 Pro Plus, it is equipped with a 200-megapixel OIS main camera, an 8-megapixel Ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel Macro sensor.
On the front, there is a 32-megapixel in both smartphones.

Realme 12 Pro Plus Processor
This one, I would like to call a major upgrade. Realme has switched the Mediatek Dimensity 7050 processor from the Realme 11 Pro Plus to the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 on the Realme 12 Pro Plus. Furthermore, the storage will be the same this year. The Realme 12 Pro Plus rolls out in India with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
So, these were the two big upgrades in the Realme 12 Pro Plus. Now, let me tell you the other specifications and price of this smartphone.
