Vivo Z1X to launch in India today: Expected specs, price and more

The Vivo Z1X is all set to launch at 12pm today, September 6. The second Z-series smartphone in India has been teased by Vivo a number of times leading up to the launch. Hence, we already know quite a bit about the upcoming device. The Vivo Z1X is expected to sport triple rear cameras, a 4500mAh battery, and more. The launch event will be live streamed on the company’s Facebook page.
Vivo Z1X expected specifications
The Vivo Z1X “is designed for consumers that are performance-oriented and love playing heavy density games on their handset,” said Vivo. The smartphone is said to feature a 6.38-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display. It is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 chipset. Vivo has also posted benchmark scores of the Snapdragon 712 on its website, comparing it to the Snapdragon 710 and Snapdragon 660 chipsets.
Further, the Vivo Z1X is tipped to pack a 4500mAh battery that is said to support 22.5W Vivo FlashCharge technology that promises 3-hours worth of talk-time with just 5 minutes of charging.
In the camera department, the Vivo Z1X is said to sport triple rear cameras: a 48MP primary sensor consisting of the Sony IMX582 sensor, an ultra-wide angle sensor and a depth sensor. On the front, it is expected to include a 32MP selfie camera.
The phone will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner that Vivo claims can unlock the phone in just 0.48 seconds. It will run Android Pie out of the box.
Vivo Z1X expected price in India
As mentioned above, the Vivo Z1X will be launched at 12pm today. The price is expected to be revealed at the event. For now, we don’t have any concrete information about the price of the device, though, it is expected to be launched in the sub-Rs. 20,000 segment.
