Vivo recently launched its Z1x smartphone in India, which is a mid-range device aimed at mobile gamers. Equipped with 6GB RAM and a Snapdragon 712 SoC, the handset goes up against the likes of Xiaomi Mi A3, Realme 5 Pro and other phones that are similarly priced. The Vivo Z1x also sports an in-display fingerprint sensor, which is yet to become a common feature in mid-range handsets. The device will go on sale today via Flipkart and Vivo.com and here’s all you need to know about it.
The Vivo Z1x is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 AIE SoC, which is paired with 6GB RAM. It comes with options to select from 64GB and 128GB of storage. The handset is equipped with a 6.38-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display and sports a waterdrop notch design with a 19:5:9 aspect ratio. It sports an in-display fingerprint scanner and runs on Android 9 Pie on top of Funtouch 9.1.
In terms of optics, the Vivo Z1x features a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 48MP Sony IMX582 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it sports a 32MP camera that is housed in the notch. The phone is backed by a 4500mAh battery that supports 22.5W Vivo FlashCharge technology. It also gets a 3.5mm audio jack.
The 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of Vivo Z1x costs Rs 16,990, while the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model is priced at Rs 18,990. It will go up for sale today in Fusion Blue and Phantom Purple colour options at 12PM via Flipkart, Vivo.com. Launch offers include up to Rs 1,250 off on HDFC cards and EMI transactions, Jio users can also get benefits of Rs 6,000, and up to 6 months of no-cost EMI.
