Vivo Y200 set to launch in India on October 23: Everything you need to know

Vivo is expected to launch a new smartphone in India next week on October 23. This will be the Vivo Y200 5G and it will succeed the previous Vivo Y100 smartphone. As we know the drill, before the launch of any new smartphone, the specs and features of the device are shared on the internet via tips and leaks. Speaking of the Vivo Y200 5G, both tips and renders have been spotted on the internet. Read along to know all that we know so far.

Vivo Y200 specifications

Vivo announced the date of release of the Vivo Y200 5G and even shared a promotional video. The smartphone could pack a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. It could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset. It could be powered by the Funtouch OS out-of-the-box, which is based on Android 13. We could see it in an 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant.

What we know so far is that the display could be equipped with the aura light feature. As far as the cameras are concerned, we might get to see a dual camera setup which is placed on the top left corner on the rear of the Vivo Y200 5G. This could include a 64-megapixel primary camera which will come with optical image stabilisation (OIS). This will be complemented by a 2-megapixel secondary lens. We could even get a 16MP selfie shooter in the front.

For batteries, we could see a 4,800 mAh battery on the Vivo Y200 5G and it could come with 44W fast charging support.

The promotional video gives a sneak peek of the smartphone and shows us that the phone will be available in two colour variants. These are Desert Gold and Jungle Green. These colours were previously even hinted at via a leak. 

Lastly, speaking of the prices, it is speculated to be priced at around ₹24,000.
