Vivo might launch a new smartphone called the Xplay 6 later this month. According to a post on Chinese microblogging website Weibo, the device may sport a 2K display and might be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC with 6GB of RAM. It is also tipped to offer 128GB of inbuilt storage along with a 4000mAh battery. Further, the phone may come with dual-rear cameras. Other features that the phone is expected to have include an embedded Hi-Fi chip, fingerprint sensor and Funtouch OS 3.0.

Vivo has also been teasing the X9 and X9 Plus smartphones. The two devices are expected to sport dual front facing cameras. Reports suggest that one of the cameras will feature a 20MP sensor, while the other might be an 8MP sensor.

Earlier this month, Vivo announced the Xplay 5 Elite, which was the first smartphone to offer 6GB of RAM. The device also sported a 5.43-inch QHD Super AMOLED display and was powered by a Snapdragon 820 SoC. Further, it offers 128GB of storage and 16MP/8MP cameras. The Xplay 5 Elite has not been launched in India as of now.
