Vivo X7, X7 Plus with SD652 SoC, 4GB RAM launched in China
Both phones also sport 16MP front-facing cameras.
Vivo has unveiled the X7 and X7 Plus smartphones in China. The two phones are pretty similar in terms of specifications, except in terms of screen size, battery capacity and rear camera. Both phones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoCs, with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The two devices also feature 16MP front cameras and fingerprint sensors.
The Vivo X7 features a 5.2-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, 13MP rear camera, and a 3000mAh battery. The Vivo X7 Plus on the other hand features a larger 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display and a 4000mAh battery. It also sports a 16MP rear camera. The Vivo X7 will be available from July 7 at CNY 2498 (approx. Rs. 25,300). The X7 Plus will be available from July 15, and the price of the phone will also be announced on that day. It is not yet known if and when these two devices will be available outside China. The Vivo X7 was teased a few weeks ago and it was speculated that the phone might be powered by a MediaTek Helio X25 SoC.
Vivo launched the V3 and V3 Max smartphones in India a few months back. The Vivo V3 sports a 5-inch HD display and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 616 SoC with 3GB of RAM. The V3 Max features a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by a Snapdragon 652 SoC with 4GB of RAM. The two devices were launched at Rs. 17,980 and Rs. 23,980 respectively.
