Vivo has finally made the first movers advantage by launching its latest X200 series. After the iPhone 16 and Pixel 9, we all wait for Chinese brands to roll out their next-gen flagships, and this time Vivo is the first one to do that. The Chinese brand has launched the Vivo X200 series, which includes three smartphones but not the Ultra model. This year, Vivo brings the vanilla X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro Mini. All three smartphones are powered by MediaTek’s latest flagship chipset, the Dimensity 9400 SoC. The Vivo X200 lineup is packed with plenty of upgrades over the Vivo X100 series. Just like everyone else, Vivo has also focused on AI this year. So, let me tell you all about these smartphones without wasting any time. Let’s go!

Before we dive into specifications, let’s talk about their design first. The Vivo X200 series comes with a flat display along with a boxy design like iPhones. Not just iPhones, but almost all smartphone brands are launching their new phones with flat displays and boxy designs. The camera module on the back is pretty much the same as the Vivo X100.

When it’s the Vivo X series, the photography comes first. The Vivo X200 Pro is equipped with a 50-megapixel LYT-818 main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a massive 200-megapixel Zeiss APO telephoto camera. The Vivo X200, on the other hand, includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens. The X100 Pro Mini doesn’t compromise either. It features a 50-megapixel LYT-818 main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope lens. All three models are equipped with a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies.

and operate on Vivo’s latest Origin OS 5, ensuring a smooth user experience.

When it comes to display, the Vivo X200 features a 6.67-inch OLED screen, while the larger X200 Pro offers a 6.78-inch display. Both screens support 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, with peak brightness reaching up to 4500 nits. The X200 Pro Mini has a 6.3-inch OLED display with the same 120Hz refresh rate support.

Under the hood, all three models are powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. They operate on Vivo’s latest Origin OS 5, which has introduced Vivo’s own Circle to Search feature.

Lastly, the Vivo X200 is equipped with a 5,800mAh battery, while the Pro version boasts a larger 6,000mAh capacity, and the X200 Pro Mini is packed with a 5,700mAh battery. All three of them support 90-watt fast charging, and the Pro Mini also supports 50-watt wireless charging.
