Vivo X100 series is launching on this day: Check out what it could feature

The Vivo X90 series was launched last year in November 2022 in China and now it has been almost a year since we’ve been waiting for its successor. But turns out that the wait is now almost over as Vivo is all set to announce the Vivo X100 series soon. Just like the previous lineup, the VivoX100 series could also come up with three smartphones. Let’s find out more about this upcoming lineup by Vivo.

As reported by Gadgets 360, the Vivo X100 lineup was officially teased by Vivo in a post on Weibo. They informed us that the lineup will be unveiled on November 13 in China at 7 PM local time. In another post, it also hinted that they could unveil the Vivo Watch 3 with BlueOS at the same time.

Vivo X100 series rumoured details

Even though the company has not shared much about the smartphone lineup, we have gathered some information from the leaks and renders surfacing on the web. Firstly, just like the previous Vivo X90 lineup, even the Vivo X100 series could consist of three smartphones: Vivo X100, Vivo X100 Pro, and Vivo X100 Pro+.

The Weibo post also gave us a hint at the design of the next Vivo lineup. We spotted a blue ripple glass finish design on the smartphone. And just like the trend these days, the camera module is placed in the centre of the rear panel.

According to a report by Gizmochina, the camera island consists of three cameras along with an LED flash. Out of these, the Vivo X100 Pro’s camera module could include a 1-inch Sony IMX920 primary lens, a Samsung JN1 sensor ultra-wide sensor, and an OmniVision OV64B telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom. Further, it is also said to come with Zeiss tuning just like its predecessors.

Apart from the cameras, the Vivo X100 Pro+ could pack the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Meanwhile, the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC. Another report suggests that these smartphones could be priced somewhere between ₹45,000 and ₹84,999 (converted from Chinese Yuan).
