You might have heard that Vivo recently launched its flagship smartphone series, the Vivo X100 in China. The smartphones were introduced in China in November, and we’ve all been waiting for Vivo to go global with the flagship series. Up until now, we did not have the global launch details about the series. However, we have got our hands on some information, let me tell you.
First things first, the Vivo X100 series includes two smartphones: the Vivo X100 and the Vivo X100 Pro. The high-end smartphones pack the flagship 4nm Dimensity 9300 chipset. Now speaking of the launch date. Sadly, the Indian release date is not known yet and neither is the company giving away any hints. However, according to GSMArena, Vivo has added new event pages for both the Vivo X100 and the Vivo X100 Pro smartphones. This page says that the smartphones will be out globally on December 14. On top of that, it also revealed that pre-ordering will be available starting November 24.

Now, we are awaiting word from Vivo to confirm whether the flagship series will make its way into India on December 14. We will update you whenever there is a new update. Until then, let’s take a look at the major upgrades that have been sported on the vanilla Vivo X100, as it is already out in China.
The Vivo X100 has seen three major upgrades this year. These are with the battery, camera, and the processor. Let me quickly tell you about that.
Firstly, the processor. The Vivo X100 runs on the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chip coupled with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. The Mediatek Dimensity 9300 is an Octa-Core processor that has four performance cores running at up to 3.25GHz clock speed and also has four efficiency cores. The Vivo X100 packs the OriginOS 4 based on Android 14 OS out of the box.

For cameras, we can see a major upgrade. It houses a triple camera setup on the rear that includes a 50-megapixel primary lens, a 64-megapixel Periscope Telephoto sensor with up to 3x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom, and a 50-megapixel Ultrawide sensor. It also features Zeiss tuning.
And lastly, coming to the battery. The Vivo X100 is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports up to 120-watt fast charging.
