Vivo X Note will have a 7-inch QHD OLED display.

The phone will reportedly include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and support 80W fast charging.

The handset is expected to go official in China in April 2022.

While Samsung has officially discontinued its Note phones which can be accredited for making big displays trendy, Vivo is reportedly rebranding its next Nex series phone as Vivo X Note as was revealed by an official store listing in China. The Vivo X Note will be a premium large display phone and is expected to go official next month.

Vivo X Note Specifications

According to the listing, the upcoming Vivo X Note will have a 7-inch OLED screen. Vivo will allegedly use Samsung’s E5 AMOLED panel with QHD+ resolution and a centred punch-hole cutout. This is an LTPO screen that supports dynamic refresh rate and was also used on the Vivo X70 series.

7-inch display size once used to be the demarcation between ‘phablets’ and tablets. While it’s quite common for phones to have displays in the vicinity of 6.8-inches these days, very few actually hit the 7-inch mark. Samsung’s Fold series foldable phones for instance usually include a 7.16-inch primary display.

Underneath the display, the phone uses a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for secure unlocking. Like most other premium flagships of 2022, the Vivo X Note will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage.

The Primary camera sensor is 50MP Samsung S5KGN1 which was earlier seen on some popular phones like Vivo X70 Pro+ and Google Pixel 6 Pro. All of these high-end components will draw power from its 5000mAh battery that also supports 80W fast charging.
