Vivo has officially teased its first book-style foldable smartphone for India. The Chinese brand has been rolling out its foldable smartphones in the Chinese market for a while, and now it has also moved towards India. In India, there are only three brands that have brought their book-style foldables. These are Samsung, OnePlus, and Tecno. With the X Fold 3 Pro, Vivo is all set to take on these brands.
The brand has teased the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro on a dedicated site on its own website as well. Apart from the confirmation, Vivo has also revealed a few features and the launch date of the smartphone. Let’s check them out!
Official details about Vivo X Fold 3 Pro
Firstly, let’s talk about its launch. The website says the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will launch in India on June 6. Now coming to its features, the brand is saying it will be the “Best fold ever” and is co-engineered with Zeiss. It will come with a carbon fiber hinge and is also claimed to be “India’s lightest foldable.” For context, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 weighs 250 grams and the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will weigh just 236 grams. Only one colour option of this smartphone has been revealed yet, which is Celestial Black.

Vivo has also revealed that it will feature an 8.03-inch inner display that has up to 4500 nits of peak brightness. There will be a Zeiss-tuned Telephoto camera with up to 10x zoom. Interestingly, we will also get to see some Gemini-powered AI features such as AI Note Assist, AI Transcript Assist, and AI Screen Translation in this phone.

Expected specifications
The Chinese variant of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor paired with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. It has an inner 8.03-inch 120Hz LTPO AMOLED display with a 2200 x 2480 pixels resolution. Along with this, there is a foldable 6.53-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with 1172 x 2748 pixels resolution.
For photography, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro uses a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 64-megapixel Periscope Telephoto sensor with up to 3x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens. For selfies, it features two 32-megapixel shooters on both displays. Lastly, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is packed with a 5600mAh battery with 100-watt fast charging support.
So this was all about the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. On paper, the smartphone looks pretty interesting but we have to wait for the phone to be launched before making any opinion about it.
