Expanding its V-series of smartphones in the sub-Rs 20,000 segment, Vivo has launched V9Pro smartphone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor and 6GB RAM. The handset is priced at Rs 19,990 but it will be available in Black colour at a special price of Rs 17,990 during Amazon India’s Great India Festival. The phone comes with some user-centric features, like Bike mode and Game mode in the smartphone. Vivo says that the V9Pro has been manufactured at Vivo’s Greater Noida facility in line with the “Make in India” programme.

The V9Pro features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ FullView Display with 90 percent screen-to-body ratio and 19:9 aspect ratio. The display is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE processor, which is combined with a 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB. It houses a 3260mAh battery and runs on Funtouch 4.0 OS based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
In the camera department, the V9Pro is equipped with a dual rear camera setup with a primary 13MP lens with F2.2 aperture and a 2MP one with F2.4 aperture. Both of them have OmniVision OV13855 sensor. Vivo says that the rear camera click portrait images with software and hardware-powered Bokeh effect. The rear camera also offers a host of other features such as Ultra HD and AR Stickers. On the front, there is a 16MP front camera with F2.0 aperture and Samsung’s S5K3P9 sensor.
