Vivo has finally introduced the V50 in India as the successor to the Vivo V40. The device has a slimmer design, a Zeiss-powered camera, AI capabilities, a quad-curved display, and more. Thanks to FunTouch OS 15, the smartphone now includes transcript, translation, search, and Gemini integration. The device is IP68 and IP69 certified, indicating improved water and dust resistance.

Vivo V50 specifications
The Vivo V50 comes with a 6.77-inch AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate. It offers up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness. The device comes powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. It comes coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 2.2 storage. The device is backed by a 6,000 mAh battery and support 90W fast charging. It runs on Android 15-based FunTouch OS 15.

In terms of connectivity, the device offers Bluetooth 5.4, USB 2.0, GPS and OTG but misses out on NFC.
Speaking of the optics, the smartphone comes with a 50 MP primary shooter with OIS and 50 MP wide angle lens. For selfies, the device gets a 50 MP front-facing camera.
Vivo V50 price in India, availability
The Vivo V50 price starts at Rs 34,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB variant while the 8GB RAM and 256GB variant will cost at around Rs 36,999. The 12GB RAM and 512GB storage will cost at around Rs 40,999. The customers can avail bank offers of up to 10 percent using select bank cards.
The customers can opt from Rose Red, Titanium Grey and Starry Night colour shades. The device will be on sale starting February 25 with pre-booking starting today.
