Vivo is reportedly gearing up to launch the V30 series in India next month. The upcoming Vivo V30 lineup is expected to consist of two smartphone models: the Vivo V30 and the V30 Pro. 

According to MySmartPrice, the Vivo V30 series is expected to come with a ZEISS co-engineered camera system, designed specifically for the Indian market.

If the report is true, this will mark a significant development as the Vivo V30 series is expected to be a mid-range lineup, marking the debut of a premium lens manufacturer in this segment.

Typically, ZEISS collaborations can be seen in Vivo’s ultra-premium flagship smartphones like the Vivo X series.

This partnership merges ZEISS’s optical expertise– known for sharper images, minimised distortion, and distinctive bokeh effects– with Vivo’s user-centric technology. The outcome is elevated image quality, incorporating ZEISS’s signature aesthetics and advanced features such as ZEISS Biotar Portrait Style.

Furthermore, the Vivo V30 Pro smartphone model has been spotted on the Geekbench database. On Geekbench, the V30 Pro handset achieved 1,045 points in the single-core test and scored 3,637 points in the multicore test.

The listing also revealed that the Vivo V30 Pro device is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 8200 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM. Also, it will likely run on Android 14 out-of-the-box.

Let’s take a look at the specifications of the standard Vivo V30 handset which has already been unveiled in the global market. The Vivo V30 features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display. This handset is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, and runs on Android 14-based FuntouchOS 14 out-of-the-box.

For photography, the V30 features a 50MP primary and front camera. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.
