Vivo V20 SE officially teased ahead of launch

Vivo V19 was launched back in May

Vivo V20 series could launch in India sometime during Dusshera

Vivo V20 SE is confirmed to be a part of the V20 series with the V20 and V20 Pro. The company has officially started teasing its fans about the V20 SE as it released two posters online. As per previous reports, Vivo is looking to launch the V20 series in India during the festival of Dusshera.

Vivo Malaysia’s official Instagram account posted two teaser images confirming the existence of the V20 SE in the upcoming lineup.

The Vivo V20 series succeeds the V19 that was launched earlier in May in India. As per a recent report, the V20 series is expected to come with a rectangular camera module as seen on the X50 range.

While details around the exact specifications remain a mystery, the V20 SE is rumoured to be powered by the Snapdragon 665 processor with 8GB RAM and runs on FunTouchOS. The V20 SE is also said to feature 33W fast charging out-of-the-box.

Some leaked renders also made their way online, revealing the alleged design of the upcoming lineup. The Vivo V20 likely comes with a triple camera setup on the back and dual cameras on the front. It is expected that the V20 will come with a 44MP primary selfie camera.

Being a mid-range phone, the Vivo V20 series will be an upgrade over the V19 that comes with Snapdragon 712 processor, 48MP quad cameras, dual 32MP + 5MP selfie cameras and a fast-charging battery. As the latest leak indicates that Vivo could launch as many as three phones under the V20 range, we could expect some upgrades in the form of high refresh rate display, gimbal stabilization system for the rear cameras and multiple variants across different price points.

We will know more about the launch of the V20 series in India as we near the launch date. Meanwhile, have a look at the best mid-range smartphones here.
