The Vivo V19 was announced earlier this week and today, the smartphone is going on its first sale across e-commerce platforms and Vivo’s e-store. The Vivo V19 rocks a 32MP dual punch-hole selfie camera along with a 48MP quad camera setup at the back.
The Vivo V19 will be sold to customers residing in areas designated orange and green zones by the central government. People living in the red zones will not be able to purchase it.
The Vivo V19 will go on its first sale at 12PM on Amazon, Flipkart and Vivo’s e-store. Vivo is offering a 10 percent cash back on the phone if you have an ICICI Bank or an HDFC Bank credit or debit card. There are also Airtel and Reliance Jio data benefits up for grabs.
The Vivo V19 is offered in two variants, both with 8GB RAM. The base variant comes with 128GB storage and is priced at Rs 27,999 while the top variant offers 256GB storage and is priced at Rs 31,990. The phone runs on the Snapdragon 712 SoC which already powers smartphones launched last year, like the Realme 5 Pro and the Realme XT. You also have two colour variants to choose from — Piano Black and Mystic Silver.
Vivo’s V-series have always aimed at the mid-premium segment with a strong focus on imaging. The Vivo V19 is no different. There are a total of six cameras on the body. Two punch-hole selfie cameras drilled into the display, and four at the back.
The rear camera setup consists of a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP bokeh camera and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, is a 32MP primary selfie camera and an 8MP ultrawide lens.
The Vivo V19 also sports a 6.44-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock. The display comes with anti-flicker at low brightness to keep your eyes protected in the dark.
As mentioned above, the phone runs on the Snapdragon 712 SoC and comes with 8GB RAM with up to 256GB storage. There’s a 4,500mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
