Vivo U20 launched with Snapdragon 675 chipset, triple rear cameras and more for Rs 10,990

Vivo has launched the Vivo U20 today. The smartphone succeeds Vivo U10 that was launched in India a couple of months ago. Vivo U20 teasers had already revealed some of the key specifications of the smartphone. Now, the Vivo U20 ha been officially announced in India. It is basically a rebranded version of the Vivo U3 that was announced in China last month. The phone will go on sale on Amazon India and Vivo e-store. 

Vivo U20 features a 6.53 full-HD+ FullView display with waterdrop-style notch. The smartphone is claimed to have a more than 90 percent screen-to-body ratio. The company has said that Vivo U20 has a peak brightness of 480nits. Vivo U20 is powered bt the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset. It comes equipped with 6GB RAM and UFS 2.1 storage. The smartphone packs a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. 

Vivo U20 sports a triple rear camera setup: a 16MP primary camera with an f/1.78 aperture + an 8MP wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture + a 2MP macro sensor. It also comes with a 16MP selfie shooter. The rear camera has features like EIS and Super Night mode.

For reference, Vivo U10 is priced at Rs 8,990 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant, whereas the 3GB RAM + 64GB storage option costs Rs 9,990. On the other hand, Vivo U20 is priced at Rs 10,990 for the 4GB RAM + 64 storage model, whereas the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant will cost users Rs 11,990.

Vivo will host the first sale for Vivo U20 on November 28 at 12 PM. It will sell through Amazon India website and Vivo e-store. The smartphone will be made available in Racing Black and Blaze Blue colour options. The company will be offering Rs 1,000 off on prepaid orders and no-cost EMI options for up to 6 months.
