Vivo has launched its new mid-range smartphone the Vivo S1Pro in India, which is powered by the Snapdragon 665 SoC. This new offering by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer will compete with the likes of Xiaomi Mi A3, Oppo A9 2020, Redmi Note 8 Pro, among others. Along with a 6.38-inch display, it sports an in-display fingerprint sensor. However, its touted USP is a ‘Diamond Quad Camera’ setup, which as the name suggests, houses four cameras in a camera setup. The new handset will be available in Mystic Black, Jazzy Blue and Dreamy White colour options.
The Vivo S1Pro features a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display that has a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 × 2340. As mentioned above, it runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC and comes in only one variant with 8GB RAM version with 128GB of internal storage. The handset runs on Funtouch OS 9.2, which is based on Android 9 and is powered by a 4500mAh battery that supports Vivo’s 18W Dual-Engine Fast Charging technology. It comes equipped with a USB Type-C port as well.
In terms of optics, the Vivo S1Pro comes equipped with a 48MP main sensor on the back that assists in primary and night mode photography. The main sensor is supplemented by an 8MP super wide angle camera, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front is a 32MP camera that is paired with an f/2.0 aperture lens. The device comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor as well.
The Vivo S1Pro is available in one variant, which comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Priced at Rs 19,990, the handset comes in Mystic Black, Jazzy Blue and Dreamy White colour options. It will be up for sale from January 4 vivo India E-store, Amazon.in, Flipkart, and other ecommerce websites.
