Vivo S18 series leak reveals processor, display, battery & more

Following the recent debut of the Vivo X100 series, Vivo seems to be focusing on developing new smartphones, particularly in the mid-range category. The upcoming models, namely the Vivo S18 and S18 Pro, are slated to follow the Vivo S17 lineup. Key specifications of the Vivo S18 and S18 Pro have been shared by tipster WhyLab on Weibo, giving insight into what these phones could offer.

The specifications of the Vivo S18 and S18 Pro have surfaced via what seems to be a leaked presentation slide, reports 91mobiles.

Let’s talk about the Vivo S18 model first. The leak revealed that the Vivo S18 model is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. It will likely have 8GB/12GB/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage options.

The upcoming Vivo S18 smartphone is expected to come with an OLED display with 2,800nits peak brightness. Moreover, it could feature a punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter, and might pack a 5,000mAh battery. 

Speaking of the Vivo S18 Pro model, this device is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC. It will also have an OLED display, a 5000mAh battery, and the same storage and RAM options as the standard Vivo S18. Also, the Pro model will likely house a 50MP Sony IMX920 sensor, similar to the Vivo X100.

Rumours suggest that upcoming Vivo S18 and S18 smartphone models will likely come with 80W fast charging support.

There is speculation that the Vivo S18 model might launch globally as Vivo V30 and Vivo S18 Pro as Vivo V30 Pro. Currently, there’s no official announcement regarding the release date or pricing for these phones. However, more details about the phone are expected to emerge soon.
