Vivo S18 series launch date & key specs officially teased: Processor, colours & more revealed

Vivo S18 series will be announced on December 14 in China.

The upcoming lineup will consist of three models: the Vivo S18e, S18 and S18 Pro.

Alongside the Vivo S18 lineup, the company will also introduce the Vivo TWS 3e TWS earbuds.

For quite some time, there have been rumours about the Vivo S18 series. Now, Vivo has confirmed that it will unveil the Vivo S18 series on December 14 in China. The upcoming lineup will consist of three models: the Vivo S18e, S18 and S18 Pro. 

Alongside the Vivo S18 lineup, the company will also introduce the Vivo TWS 3e TWS earbuds. Let’s take a look at the confirmed details about these devices.

The starting model in the S18 series, the Vivo S18e, will feature a flat display and a round camera module housing an OIS-enabled dual-camera system alongside an Aura LED flash, reports Gizmochina.

The S18e handset will pack a 4,800mAh battery with support for 80W charging. It will measure 7.69mm in thickness. It will be available in Cloud Gauze White, Glow Purple, and Starry Night Black colour options.

Now, let’s talk about the Vivo S18 and S18 Pro smartphone models. Vivo’s President and General Manager of Brand and Product Strategy, Jia Jingdong has revealed that the S18 handset will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip. In contrast, the S18 Pro model will be powered by the Dimensity 9200 Plus.

He further mentioned that both smartphones will be available in Huaxia Red, Black, Purple, and Sea Green colour options.

Below, you can see some camera samples of the Vivo S18 handset. While Jingdong did not mention the camera specifications of the S18, he revealed that the S18 Pro will feature a 50MP front camera with dual soft LED flash, and will house a 50MP + 50MP + 12MP triple camera setup on the back.

The Vivo S18 and S18 Pro look different when compared to the S18e. The standard and Pro variants have a curved-edge OLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. 

Speaking of the Vivo TWS 3e earbuds, the company has revealed the design of the upcoming earbuds but has not confirmed any of its key features.
