Videocon has announced two devices in its new range of Android-based smartphones – the Videocon A20 and Videocon A30. Both the smartphones are dual-SIM, and are priced at Rs. 4,999 and Rs. 7,299 respectively.
Videocon A20
The Videocon A20 runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm processor. It has a 3.5-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen, 3MP rear camera, VGA camera and expandable storage up to 16GB. For connectivity, the device supports A2DP Bluetooth, FM radio with recording and GPRS/EDGE/WCDMA, Wi-Fi and HSDPA 7.2Mbps. The Videocon A20 comes preloaded with various apps such as Facebook, TOI, ET, History Eraser, Gesture Search & Google Applications, GPS and A-GPS. The device comes with a 1350 mAh battery.
Videocon A30
The Videocon A30 runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor. Other specifications of the device include 4.0-inch WVGA touch screen, 5 MP rear camera and a front VGA camera, FM radio with recording, expandable storage up to 32 GB, A2DP Bluetooth, GPRS/EDGE/WCDMA capabilities along with Wi-Fi, GPS, A-GPS , preloaded apps like Facebook, TOI, ET, History Eraser, Gesture Search, Gameloft Crome- ‘Where’s Wally’, Google Applications and HSDPA 7.2Mbps. The device comes with a 1,500 mAh battery.
