Google launched the Google Docs app for the Android users few months back. The app allows users to create documents and access them directly on their smartphones without using a mobile browser to do so. Google has been continuously working to improve the app and now they have come up with an update.

The new update reduces dependance on mobile browsers to perform text editing related works. Now you can insert the image taken by your Android phone into Google document with a new “Web Clipboard” feature. To perform this, you need to tap the camera icon on the Docs widget. Capture the image and select “send to web clipboard” and press “OK”. Create or open any Google document. Click the Web Clipboard icon and select the item to paste into your doc.
Apart from the Web Clipboard feature, Google has made some more improvements to its Google Docs. The open and send options have been improved. In addition, you can view your documents with any compatible viewing application and send a doc as an attachment through email or another app on your phone.
Another notable upgrade is that Google Docs app is now available in 45 additional languages. This will ensure more users around the world will be able to use the Google app. Here’s how Google Docs look like in German:
